I want to make some skirts to mess around in the yard, so I want them to be easy. I've made this skirt before and like the fullness of it, etc. If I want to make this an elastic waist...well, I've read some other posts here on how to draw a straight line up from the hip and how to sew on the elastic w/o a casing. I am not going to cut a yoke piece, but do I just need to extend the skirt front/back the width of the yoke, or can I omit that fabric area all together and just start my elastic adjustment from the top of the skirt piece? Make sense? Any other tips are also appreciated. This is the first time I've adjusted a pattern. My Webpage
