Awhile ago, I posted a bag pattern that I made. The pattern instructions were very detaileed. I loved it!

You can buy them through Pattern Review, or check out her website here: http://www.nicolemdesign.com.au You can see the patterns there (which are rated according to their difficulty), and read the various tips and tutes for getting a good finish. They are contemporary, and the website is good too. I have also seen her demonstrate techniques on a couple on youtube videos, and that was fun and helpful.
