We've got tornadoes on the ground and golf ball to baseball size hail moving into the area. My wind is beginning to pick up.

Oklahoma--sorry I was typing too fast.

Hang in there, and check back in when you get the opportunity. YEESH! Will these storms let up??

Hi I am in the tulsa area and it is moving here lots of thunder and lighting no rain or hail yet.. The TV channels are around the clock weather coverage.

After what I saw in Joplin I am thinking I need to put some shoes and socks and water in the safe area just in case.

take care and check in again.

It was a very busy night for the weatherman. Sightings and take cover now warnings were going off left and right. When our sirens went off the first time, and we were told to go to the safe area, I was looking out the window and our phone rang at the same time. I saw 2 planes coming in make course corrections and veer off the other way. We found out later we were in the direct path of a tornado, but didn't know it then. That was when I got a little more grounded and began making mental lists for the rest of the evening.

The 2nd time we got sirens, it was for a severe and dangerous thunderstorm. It was then I remembered my 2 Viking sewing machines are in south Dallas at the new repair center.

We lost our patio table umbrella from the outer rings of the tornado that hit Oklahoma. It was closed but old and got ripped up. That was how I spelled Oklahoma wrong. The winds were coming in pretty strong and my husband and kids were getting excited and I think the phone was ringing again.

I was hoping to see what others said. I understand Arkansas got hit, and Joplin again. Maybe they need more coffee.
