Date: 5/25/11 2:23 PM Yeah I think I need some needles. I have a lot of stabillizer from previous sales. But they don't have the 50% notion wall sale as often as they used to. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 5/25/11 3:51 PM The W-S JoAnn is a small JoAnn. When I moved here from Florida I was so disappointed. They have tried to spruce it up lately, but I mostly run in for what I need and run out. Not a place I like to linger.
Most of the time the twin needles are gone along with the stretch needles - someone else must know about the sale and get there before I do.
Seriously, unless you really feel the need to drive to W-S, you'd do just as well at Mary Jo's. PM me if you'd like. |

Date: 5/25/11 4:23 PM Thanks for the info, gatorgirl. I'm in the Charlotte area (Huntersville) and the WS store is the closest one.
I have to be honest, i'm not a big fan of MaryJos. I'm not a huge fan of JAs either, but DH gave me a gift card for christmas, and I thought the best time to spend it would be during a %50 notions sale.

Date: 5/25/11 4:43 PM Gosh I couldn't imagine traveling 70 miles to a Joanns. I have one within walking distance. Not on purpose just a happy accident. Two Joanns closed to make a super Joanns in a shopping center right around the corner from me. But then we don't have the independent fabric stores around here either. We have one high end quilting store and that's about it. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 5/25/11 5:14 PM I can't really imagine traveling 70 miles to a JAs either, it's only because I have the GC! lol
I have a few Hancocks in the area, and i'm getting MUCH better and spending money at online vendors.
When I lived in Michigan, there were a few JAs in my area. I'll probably just put off the JAs trip until my next visit to MI. Although, I could probably just spend the GC online too. I really wanted some of their Rainbow boulce yarn they have, but they don't have very many colors online. That and the 50% notions, I thought the trip would be a good idea. ------ http://theramblingsoftcm.blogspot.com/
