Fabric.come has these rayon/cotton jerseys for sale.
Has anyone used this blend of fabric before? It looks intersting and sounds like it would make some nice cool summer tops. I'm just wondering if it holds its shape well since there is no lycra in it.

They look yummy! I just sent them an email to ask about the fabric's recovery. I'll report my answer.

Here's the response I got from Kristl at Fabric.com:

Quote:
I think they should have good recovery. I went out to the warehouse and stretched a few. The less they are in the dryer, the better. Otherwise, I think they will look great for a long time.

BTW, I've ordered from them many times and have always been pleased. NAYY.

Thanks Debby!
I think I've talked myself into ordering some (it was a short conversation).
Now hmmm, which colors to choose!

I bought some too. My favorite Tshirt from Target is made from this blend. It's super soft. I figure if it's too thin for a tshirt I can use it for lingerie/pjs. This is one of those fabrics that I almost *never* can find. . .

You :devil:s You

I have abstained from fabric buying since the first of the year. I successfully resisted SawyerBrook and the evil ones at Sew Baby who sent me swatches without my requesting them, but this may be too much for me.

Izzie I'm glad you posted the question. I've been looking at the same fabric on fabric.com for two days. I can't decide on color. I'm trying not to buy any fabric that won't go with something that I already have in my stash to make a complete outfit. Hmmm, wonder how long that will last?

Oh, dear; they are too pretty, and I succumbed, even though jersey is not my favorite fabric to sew (thank goodness for spray starch). Being unable to choose among them, I got three colors. Sigh.
