Joesmom, you must get the Burda email updates in German too, right? :)

I like the first black dress.

Many thanks for bringing this up, I had checked yesterday morning and did not find it (I still have difficulties to find some things at the 'new' website)!

I was hoping to get a better idea of the red dress shown in the preview of the June issue. It is not shown in the online preview but instead three additional 3 red dresses -- so we can expect at minimum 4 red hot dresses!

And the grey jersey dress somewhere in the middle -- doesn't it look similar to the one of the envelope pattern? This one has bands made of jersey, the envelope pattern uses chiffon or alike. Differences: this one is a tank top style dress, the envelope is strapless.

All in all, I see myself buying this issue unless the technical drawings would disappoint my hopes.

Thanks for the link!

Hum, this one is tougher to call than June. I really need line drawings. Apart from the heather t-shirt knit dress with the ties, maybe the black office dress? And maaaybe the tulip skirt?

Line drawings, line drawings, I need line drawings.

The red dresses are all Plus, lucky you. One day, I hope, I'll get a full Petite section instead of an actual magazine...

Hi,
I don't get the German email updates, I just check the Russian website obsessively!

I too like the 1st black dress and I would love to see the technical drawing for the 2nd black dress, it looks interesting. The grey jersey dress reminds me a bit of the Reiss bandage dress worn recently by the new Duchess of Cambridge.

Burda preview
I almost never make any of the summer things, and I doubt I'll make any of these. The last red dress, with the Madonna like bra cups is just so badly fitted.

The second black dress is a shift with a seperate capelet. I like the idea. the capelet may be nice in a slightly sheer fabric as an overlay, rather than the exact same fabric as the dress. I think most of the items in the preview look different and interesting. I probably wouldn't make most of them but I like it when they have new ideas. I'm looking forward to the line drawings.

I LOVE the first black dress!! I'm absolutely making that one. Maybe it will be my Christmas dress this year (I'm a slow sewer). I could totally see it in red.

I really like this grey bandage dress:

And both black dresses, too! I eagerly away the tech drawings... ;)

The next to last red plus dress looks promising. Needs a good bra underneath, though. Sometimes those are harder to find than a good man.
