Is there a way to find specific information about this model? I was given one that is still working beautifully, but I need to locate a manual. . .find out about bobbins and presser feet. . . I'm not sure how to go about learning about this specific machine. (I did look here on PR in the reviews, but this one isn't there.)

There are listings on Google for manuals for it. ....... My sister has had an ultra stitch 12 but I checked the copy of the manual is 1304 model. Hers takes low shank feet, no. 15 metal bobbins (does not do well with plastic), uses preferred Kenmore needles size 15 length. Hope this some help.

mastersewusa.com has manuals that you can down load for $5. They also have free threading diagrams if you don't want the manual.

You have a very nice machine. Its a real workhorse. Enjoy it.

Below is the threading guide and you can see it has low shank feet and the class 15 metal bobbin.

Thanks for sharing the website. And yes, I began to realize what a workhouse I had as I played around with it a bit the first day. And it is heavy ~ all metal! Nice quiet, smooth stitching.

Thanks Muffett! This is another website suggestion and I'm glad to know of it. I'm saving all these...never know when they might come in handy in future machine acquisitions.

I found a listing for this machine on Craigslist for $10. It says it's in working order; they just don't need it. I haven't gone to see it or test it out, but I figure for $10 I really can't lose. I'm pretty sure this is the same model my mom had when I was younger and is one that I sewed on quite a bit.

My question is whether it will use generic low-shank snap-on feet or would I have to find Kenmore specific ones and how hard are they to find and how expensive?
