Date: 6/21/11 11:18 AM I would love to get a sewing group together in South Shore MA, around Braintree, Milton, Randolph, Canton, etc. I am a SAHM and am busy, but would love the motivation a group can offer. I was thinking to meet 2x a month. |

Date: 6/21/11 9:21 PM I think that there are some American Sewing Guild meetings towards the Braintree / Quincy area. You should check those out!! ------ With a great wardrobe that's still in the flat-fabric stage. |

Hope you can find a group which is supportive. I am north of Boston, so not particularly close by. Get in touch with me if you want ! |

Date: 7/19/11 3:59 PM I would LOVE to get together with sewers on the SoShore. I'm in Hingham so Braintree area is very good for me. Monthly of 2X/mo sounds doable. Would love to find a "fitting buddy" so we can help each other develop slopers that work.
All the recent fabric store closings are very sad and reinforce my belief that I'm one of maybe 4 people in my town who sew (the other 3 make draperies professionally or sails for boats!).
I buy fabric on line but have trouble visualizing prints -- so much easier when you can drape it over your torso and look in a mirror! |

Date: 8/3/11 12:11 PM Oooh, can I play, too? I would love to meet up with you all. I’m in Hanover, and am ready willing and able to travel. What time of day/night/weekends were you thinking? Hope I’m not too late to the party!

Date: 8/3/11 1:48 PM Hi Rita --
What is the name of your meet-up group? Is there an alternative way to find out more about it besides Facebook?
