Date: 6/29/11 2:35 PM Excellent pricing there too. Good luck and hopefully you will love that machine! There have been some really helpful videos with that machine posted here on PR by tholtz in the threads on the machine. Now that you have this machine, you will want to read ALL the many threads about it, and you will see her videos. They are great. ------ "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."

I have to say CONGRATS on your purchase.. Give us some feedback after you have used it.. Do remember to give the manual a look over.. in particularly on threading and bobbin threading .. Its a bit different.
And HEY.. I bought mine from Kens too. but don't recall any freebies.. so good for you on that .. Is anything cheap anymore ? At least now I know where to go for extra bobbins.. |

Date: 6/30/11 0:25 AM Congratulations! If I ever have to replace my beloved Kenmore, that is one I am keeping in mind. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you will please do a review in a few months.
If those are Organ needles, they are not cheap. (If they are Janome brand they are Organ.) Organ needles are excellent, and the only ones I use for sewing or embroidering. ------ Barb |

Date: 6/30/11 5:07 AM Ugh. I am so jealous it HURTS. After seeing what you went with I had to look up reviews and posts. WHY OH WHY did I do that! It's 4 in the morning and I'm still drooling but my eyes hurt like ....... real bad. And I don't know WHEN the last time was I read about a machine and just HAD to have it or I'm sure I'd die.
My husband is going to be a little touchy for the next few weeks while I either get through this or get me a Juki F600.
Looking forward to hearing all about yours . Have fun.
BTW, I think you made a GREAT choice. Even in selling your Bernina (which I personally wanted to kick you for). This sounds like a much better match for you.....and me too. |
