I have two questions for those of you who have used either or all of the Pattern Master Boutique programs version 5, knits or click and sew

First, are their construction directions or not? I am a beginning sewer so I am not ready for something that doesn't have instructions and I have read that some of the CAD programs don't.

Second question- I am just learning about Full Bust Adjustments using commercial patterns because I am big on top My question is with these programs, are those adjustments already done since you are inputting your own measurements??

Thanks in advance!

I have used the WildGinger programs for many years.

Yes there are construction directions but reference books are good to have.

The full bust adjustment is already done with your measurments and cup size.

There are free demos on their website and I think you have access to the albums if you register.

I noticed you are in AZ. There is a great American Sewing Guild active in Tucson that does a lot with the Wildginger programs. A friend of mine lives down there in the winter.

I have not upgraded to version 5 yet but should not be much difference in your helps, go to program help when u first open and then select construction guide. You should NOT have to do full bust adjustment with your patterns. I make patterns for myself a G cup and my sister who is 20 inches larger and we get patterns that fit in the bust. I did do ALL the measurements for us so that makes sure pattern knows that from shoulder to bust point is not 3 inches

Thanks to all of you! This is great to know.
I have lots of books.
That is interesting about the Tucson group, thanks. I live about 2 1/2 hours north of Tucson but I will still look into it. There is very little going on in garment sewing in Phoenix area.
