Date: 7/26/11 11:01 AM Wow, what an interesting contest idea!
Since I can make hats, and use aluminum foil, can I make myself a tinfoil hat?
Ok, in all seriousness, I couldn't begin to think up how to make clothing out of something like a juice box. I'm really curious to see what people come up with! ------ Sewing is more than my hobby, it is my art.

It doesn't have to be the standard model:

You could make one for your cat:

Date: 7/26/11 5:21 PM Oh, this contest sounds like fun. Not sure I'll have time for it, but I thought some of you might like to see one of my entries in 2009 for the Sew Green re-use contest in Ithaca, NY. The top and small clutch were made from used Tyvek envelopes that people at my work collected for me. The black straps, trim at lower edge of the top and gloves are made from stretch velvet tops I found at a thrift store.
