I think my sub expired with the August issue. I'm confident that i don't have to rush to renew.

It seems I like the spring - summer issues much better anyway. Maybe i'll wait until the spring to renew.

Numbers for 2011:
601.25 yards in stash (I'm sure this number is off by a few yards)
Yards in: 137.50 (Seriously? I'm over 100, and it's only JULY? Ugh!)

Its the Dirndl issue!! EEEKKKK! Who needs a plus sized costume!

Can anyone in Germany explain this...do people on the street wear these?????

Wow, I'd call this the "Hot Mess" issue! The only thing I even remotely like is "die lässige Jacke im Blousonstil mit Riegeln und Zippern".

Most of the rest looks like something out of a Fellini movie...

I do believe that there are festivals and times when dirndls are the thing to wear. It's a cultural thing, and can be quite lovely. Lutterloh has frequently had a dirndl in their supplements.

As to plus sized, yes, plus sized ladies like plus sized patterns for their dirndls.

The most awful thing there is that hideous brownish-mud colored suit with the ill fitting jacket and too long sleeves which looks like she grabbed someones jacket after being surprised in the bosses office....

I was wonderingabout what festival these clothes were for. I can see a couple of possibilites though. Sept. last year was great it had that turtleneck that everybody loved (including myself) maybe it will get better as more items evolve.
