Date: 8/4/11 0:24 AM Just wondering if anyone has tried out the new Babylock Diane 5 thread serger? It just came out and I haven't had a chance to see it yet. |

Date: 8/15/11 4:41 PM OMG, it has coverstitch and chain stitch. It is definitely worth a looksee. I just upgraded to the Evolution for this capability. I have two Babylocks and love them both. |

Date: 9/8/11 7:26 PM I am also interested in this serger. I asked BabyLock on their FB page if the Diana came with special accessories to do a cover stitch hem, like the Evolution or the dedicated Cover Stitch machine. They said they would look into it. That was over a month ago :-( When reading through thee manual (available as a PDF in their website) it says: "The graduations on seam guide plate indicate the distance from cover stitch middle needle. Use it as a guide when positioning fabric edge." So there is no foot or other special accessory, if you don't keep the fabric straight yourself it won't look good. So a test drive will be necessary to see if it's worth having it all in one machine |

Date: 11/29/12 1:43 AM I am interested in the BL Diana. I am unable to find any additional reviews. The dealer does not have one. He will order one for me. However, I am hesitant to purchase site unseen. The price is $545 w/tax. I will post a review if I decide to purchase. I have a jenome coverpro 1000 in another state. Long story. More later.
