Date: 8/5/11 8:54 PM Hey everybody- so I got this great pattern for a trench coat. However, I'm not sure what type of fabric to use! it's mccall's 5525 and the suggested fabric is cotton. cotton blends. poplin. gabardine. This is a trench coat though- I can't imagine using poplin or silk linen as it also suggests. Do y'all have any ideas of what to use for a trench coat fabric? I would like it to be somewhat water resistant. Preferably not the shiny nylon for rain coats (don't think my machine could handle that) Thanks! |

Last fall, Emmaonesock had a small selection of very nice rain wear fabric. You might check her site from time to time. ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct. |
