Joann's surprises me sometimes!!

It was in the suiting section mixed in. They had it in black, gray, red, purple, and possibly other colors that I didn't notice. I checked the price but have unfortunately forgotten what it was. It was in line with the other prices of the suitings. The stretch and weight both seemed very nice. I didn't buy any because I'm trying not to buy any fabric unless I have a clear project in mind.

I bought some in gray this summer at the Joann's in Chicago and made the StyleArc Linda pants... It's not quite the bengaline the Austrailians talk about but it sewed up quite nicely and has LOTS of stretch.

I had to look up bengaline to see what it is. I guess it's a weave? So is the Joann's bengaline silk, poly, or wool? Or a blend?

Rayon Poly Lycra blend with stretch in the length of the fabric rather than from selvedge to selvedge.

You know my problem is that I imagine all kinds of projects when I see the fabric. Problem is I envision far more projects than I can possibly sew. My husband must get so tired of seeing me constantly in front of the sewing machine all the time I am home
