I am sewing my future DIL a wedding bolero of lace, trimmed in scalloped beaded lace. I have drafted the pattern to fit as she liked, with keyhole back, and all. I am now ready to apply the trim. Do I need to reinforce the trim with organza? before applying it? It seems so flimsy and soft. I can't starch it as it has sequins and they would get dull. Any advice would be appreciated.

By hand is the best way for this.
