Has anyone made V1220

and got away with a non-stretch woven? I have gorgeous fine cotton print which i would like to use.

Hello not-so-frantic,

I just happened to notice this reviewed on Tessuti's blog in a non-stretch woven. Hope that it helps.

Yes I made it in a non stretch cotton - my review is on here somewhere. The only place you might want to add a bit extra is in the lower part of the skirt so you can safely sit down in it without popping any buttons!

Thanks Allie. I cut the back skirt to add about 8cm at the bottom circumference (angled the pattern piece away from the fold at the bottom instead of lining it up along the fold) and I added 3cm along the front edges in the front. This will take away from the 'nipped in at the knee look', but hopefully give me the extra room. I haven't sewn up the side seams yet. Pockets and side seams will be the next step.

BTW, I love your version! The colour is lovely and it looks fabulous on you. I hope mine will turn out as good.
