Right now we're looking at something very informal for Philadelphia - proably just meeting up on 4th Street/Fabric Row for a little shopping (and socializing) and then finding a spot for lunch (and more socializing).
If you're in the area and you have any comments or suggestions, please post. We'll add more details when we come up with them. -- Edited on 9/26/11 12:18 PM -- ------ Karen
There's always room for one more cat, one more book or one more yard of fabric.

Date: 9/21/11 4:42 PM Karen, thanks so much for starting this thread. For anyone new to the Philadelphia area, Fabric Row is very small compared to the Garment District of NY, yet there is good quality and bargains to be had. There are enough little restaurants serving lunch to satisfy anyone's taste. The area boasts decent parking and is easily accessible to the train and buses.
Hopefully, as we get closer to the date, more information will be posted. Mimi |

Date: 9/22/11 10:43 AM I live in Center City Philadelphia and could simply hop on the bus to meet all of you. I hardly need more fabric, but Pennsylvania Fabric Outlet always has a good selection of buttons...
The food at Bridget Foy's on South Street is good. |
