Date: 9/22/11 6:45 PM G Street Fabrics has a deal on Living Social. They are $50 vouchers for $25. Buy as many as you want and use it towards fabrics, notions, and classes. No limit! They had this deal before and with upcoming sales I purchased a lot of fabrics, notions, and a class with the vouchers. A great deal!! The deal is on for about 3 more days. Check it out here at Living Social -- Edited on 9/22/11 6:58 PM -- |

Date: 9/22/11 6:56 PM Unfortunately, it's a little more restricted this time. You can use them to buy fabrics, notions, and classes, but you can't use them to defray the cost of a walking foot.

I was hoping to use it to get some binders but alas, if it can't be used on the walking foot I assume the $200 binders are out too. Darn. Otherwise it's still a fantastic deal! ------ I'm finally a blogger!

Date: 9/23/11 9:21 PM I jumped on the deal, and started picking out feet. Then I read the fine print and canceled half my order....

Date: 9/24/11 2:49 PM I just called the Rockville store and they verified the vouchers are good towards sewing machine accessories such as feet, bobbin spools, sewing machine needles, etc. You just can't use the vouchers for purchasing sewing machines this time as stated in the fine print. I will be purchasing some feet with my vouchers. One more day for the deal! -- Edited on 9/24/11 2:53 PM -- |

Date: 9/25/11 2:16 PM i didn't realize that you had to spend the whole voucher in a single visit.
Since I buy a lot of my fabrics from the $2.97 table, it's going to be difficult to spend $50 in one visit. I probably wouldn't have bought so many. I guess I'll be buying presser feet and notions as well. Like trims and buttons. |
