I have never made a full length coat before & this one has several back pieces to it. .... What do you guys think? ..... I am not sure it looks like so much more complicated than anything I have sewn so far.

Date: 10/3/11 8:08 AM It looks like fun. The fortunate thing is that with all the pieces in the back, you can fit it more easily by taking in seam allowances. If you've made princess seamed items, I think you could manage. Looks like a gorgeous coat! ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Date: 10/3/11 9:35 AM I have made this pattern several times . In my opinion, it is the best frock coat pattern out there by far. The instructions are extensive, clear and well illustrated. Separate pattern pieces for lining and interfacing (where necessary) are included. I think a patient advanced beginner could do it just fine. |
