DF asked me recently if I would be willing to make him a few neckties. They seem easy enough so I have no problem doing it however, I can find very little silk available locally and certainly nothing like what high-end ties are made from. I've done a bit of Googling but can only find remants, which won't be large enough.
Do any of you know where I might find something suitable? Thanks in advance!

Belraf Fabrics has some (nothing earth shattering- standard patterns I remember from working retail in college 10 years ago), BUT- by the time you've purchased the silk, lining and the specialty interfacing, you'll end up with a cheaper, nicer looking tie from Nordstrom Rack.
