Subject: Open Board Date: 10/19/11 8:11 PM

Hello: This sounds like a great class! Regarding the open board for fabric and fitting issues, how will that differ from the message board already on PR? I would love to have a professional's opinion and assistance , will that be available? Thank you!

Thanks for your question - the difference is that I will help with fabric choices and fitting issues. You can post pictures of any muslin or pattern you are working on and I can walk you through perfecting the fit. I also think this will be a great way to learn from each other's fitting issues. You gotta love technology :)
I hope you join us!

Subject: good fit for sagging and lumpy apples? Date: 11/23/11 10:57 AM

Hi Angela--I am a 60ish baby boomer with gravity issues--plus size with "apple in front" body. I like natural fabrics or blends and very casual practical clothes. Also do not yet know how to post pictures and I have a crazy laptop with windows 7---thought color blocking might help disguise a fat tummy and "lowered by gravity" bustline. Is there hope for me in this class or should I learn my computer first

Hi horseowner :)
I think you would like the color blocking ideas, expecially because you will be able to add this technique to any patterns you already sew with. The possibilites are endless on fabric and color combinations.

You do not have to post pictures, only if you want my advice on fitting or design questions :)

Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope you'll join us :)

Hi Mechicenteno,
You can not download the video, but the video will be available on this class board for you for 1 year. If you need it after that, send Deepika a message and she will make it available for you.

Does the color blocking video teach how to color block regular patterns? I forgot to sign up for the class and am interested in learning. Will the video cover this? Is it too late to sign up?
