Holiday Sew Beautiful red dress!

Anyone else seen it? I might have to scan a bigger pic and post it! I LOVE IT! The bodice kinda crosses with the tabs and buttons, hard to describe. I got my magazine on Friday and keep going back to that dress. I read the directions a few times last night and it doesn't sound like it would be difficult to make. I think I am going to try it for my neighbor girls. I'm not sure if I am going to go with one fabric like the red pic, or try co-ordinating prints for the locking bodice. I have a 4 year old (almost 5 year old) and I think this will be her Christmas dress! I enjoyed sewing for our three girls - and guess what - my grandchildren are all boys! No great-grandchildren to sew for yet - and I don't know any little girls that I could make this for! It's something different for a change. It's hard to see the bodice in that pic, but it really is cool!!! Martha Pullen carries it as do many other on line merchants. I would underline it with silk organza as well.
