Anticipating her arrival I had wanted to embellish her a bit but never found the right "skin" that would be easy to trim and still alow to see her functions. I went to Hobby Lobby getting fabric and was just browsing around and got the idea of scrapbooking stuff... So I went to the scrabbooking section ( which was huge) and found decals that were just my taste and perfect for my machine .. for me anyway. Introducing my new favorite machine... whom I still need to name. lol

Date: 10/26/11 1:22 AM I hope you love your nice new machine and what a great idea to use decals. I was thinking that a good name for her might be Curly Q. |

Date: 10/26/11 8:52 AM that machine looks great. Are they removable if you want to change "skins"? My white Janome could use some dressing up. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 10/26/11 10:46 AM They are revovable in that they are vinyl sticker type rather than paper and wont make a big mess when removed but not really repositionable in that they would probably get distorted and fold upon themself if you try to remove them. These particular decals had the black scrollwork with a clear transparent backing slightly larger than the design. HOwever they were only $2 for 2 sheets of the decals so I can change them any time and not feel guilty about it. lol
