I ask as I am looking for someone I can use as a guinea pig for learning to alter patterns? ------ Ada

Date: 11/1/11 4:04 PM Hee! Ada, I like the predatory way you swooped in on a fellow Iowan, there! LOL (I'm one too; used to live in Iowa City, but haven't been back in years!)
Sorry... back to the software. I clicked in b/c I thought someone had found some software that was positively marvelous. Ah, well. I'll stay tuned anyway! ------ ~Gem in the prairie |

Date: 11/1/11 5:03 PM Utterly fascinating. Downloading the manual to see just how far removed from classic drafting method this really is. |

Date: 11/1/11 6:16 PM Ah alright, it's NOT really patternmaking software. After a quick scan through it's apparent that it truly is for for virtual clothing.

Date: 11/1/11 9:28 PM Apparently,clo3d is designed for real clothing construction. Marvelous Designer constrains the size of the "Avatar"
The Clo3D system requirements are pretty stiff.

Date: 11/2/11 11:15 AM Oh geez Miki, I ddin't notice your name at the bottom. 25# is wonderful.
As far as pattern making software, I have tried 2.
Bernina....Didn't work for me, but others have had some success.
My Pattern Designer....Not sure why I have not worked with this software more. The patterns are very basic.
Let me know if you would like to look at MPD and we can get together...how about lunch one day?
