I read from one of the chat groups here it was bad etiquette to link review photos to our blogs instead of Flickr. Since i do more in depth reviews on my blog it is easier to link there, sort of like a linking party, instead of uploading to Flickr and linking that way which is a bit of a pain and adds another step and time. Is it bad PR etiquette?

I think that the problem lies with individuals who post scant reviews with links to their blogs. The reviews can become totally useless then as a reference because of the lack of information if the poster were to close the blog or (ugh like my has been lately, been hacked!)
What I like to do, and what lots of reviewers do, is to write a good, long, involved review and link both to my blog, and to my Picasa photos, It's all covered that way!
Hope that helps.

Just my personal take on this - if I click on a pic in the gallery, it's because I want to take a quick peek at a larger shot of the item & THEN decide if I want to read the review. If that "quick peek" takes me to a blog, most of the time I just back right out.
I DO appreciate blog links WITHIN the review - if I want to know more info, or see all of the pictures in one place, I love to visit blogs. I just want it to be my choice.
ETA: for my own reviews, I like to make the PR reviews stand alone, but I often put a lot more detail in my blog post, and it's SO much easier to read in the blog format, and of course pictures are easier to see. And all of the silly stories & other extras go into the blog....I try to make my reviews here a bit more straightforward & simple, but also try to include all of the relevant facts.
