Hi all. I'm trying to get back to sewing (a little at least!) and I would really appreciate some help with this pattern: Jalie sweetheart top

Do I pick by my high bust or full bust? My waist seems to be big relative to the rest of my measurements, do I go by the other measurements and cut a bit of extra room at the waist?

I used my high bust, waist and hip measurements and traced off the sizes that matched. that is the advantage of multisized patterns.
I would also read the reviews to see what sizes other people used

Thank you Skye, I'll do that. I think I knew what you posted, but I can't get it clear in my head at the moment, thank you very much for your help!!

Our patterns are designed for the full bust measurement, not high bust. If you use your high bust measurement, the top might end up being too snug.

Pick the size that is closest to your full bust measurement and grade to the size that match your waist measurement at the waist.

Happy sewing!

Merci, je l'essai!

ETA, After some thought I realise I'm stressed and busy at the moment, and not really in the frame of mind to tackle a difficult project (I know knit tops aren't intrinsicly difficult, but I'm not very confident fitting them yet). I need to do something fairly easy that excites me, so I'm going to start on Jalie 2686, it has more pieces (for the top part anyway!!), but I like the idea of making something that I won't be wearing in public, and I can't seem to find pyjamas that fit at the moment.
