Date: 12/7/11 2:45 AM Then visiting Annika a couple of weeks ago we talked about a new PR weekend and Barcelona came up and early october.
Meeting Maria last weekend we talked about it too and she suggested second weekend of october
Barcelona is easy to reach from all over Europe and is a wonderful city ( I´ve been there 10 years ago) I remember a textile museum with a lot of Balenciaga dresses, a outlet fabric store with a lot of silk and polka dot fabric and I´m sure that Paco P can give us the right adresses for shopping.
Did I forget to mention sangria, paella, tapas, wine.... ------ www.karinskammare.blogspot.com |

Date: 12/7/11 9:09 AM I already booked the days October 12th to 15th 2012 in my calender. Just to make sure nobody else book me for something.
I've never been to Barcelona, but somebody I talked to suggested we start out by going to a yarn shop called All You Knit Is Love, and talk to the owner (or we could just e-mail her when we get closer to the date). She is apparently American and knows all the good local fabric shops and eating places, and the person said she loves to guide others:-)

Date: 12/7/11 10:31 PM I think Cadena (high end couture fabrics sold to designers and dressmakers) is based in Spain. I think they have a Barcelona location....they might give you a guided tour or something similar. |

1 member likes this. Date: 12/8/11 4:52 AM We must do what we usually do and aply budget measures. I shall bring earstoppers for anyone who would care to share room with me. And we could be very thrifty with picnic lunches and so on. |

Date: 12/9/11 8:39 AM Oh yes, definitely interested in a PR weekend. I've been to Barcelona in May, wonderful city. Not sure if it's possible for me, but I'll be following this thread. ------ http://sigridsewingprojects.blogspot.com/ |
