Date: 12/7/11 3:26 PM I've been waiting, somewhat impatiently, for two orders to arrive. The StyleArc shipped on November 25 and is still not here. I may have been spoiled, but all previous orders arrived in a week after my receiving the shipping notification. Maybe this time, it is on the slow boat.
The second order is puzzling. Portland, Oregon is 250 miles from me and I usually get mail from that area overnite or at least the day after that. This order shipped on December 1 and is one pattern. If it doesn't come today, I'll start emailing.
I've read the articles on the post office reorganization and problems, but even they have said that mail will only be delayed a day or so.
Has anyone experienced this extremely slow shipping lately? ------ 2009-113.25 yds

2011-80.25+30+donated
2012 86.3 yds..

Yes, I have, with the USPS, FedX and UPS. My UPS guy said it's because of the volume right now with Christmas just a couple of weeks away. He said alot of things simply weren't getting through. I'm not sure how to interpret that unless he means there simply isn't room on the truck so packages sit at the terminal until there is room. I hope your patterns arrive soon! |

Date: 12/7/11 3:39 PM Shipping between Australia & the US (both ways) is always extra slow this time of year with the Christmas volume. It happens every year. I try not to place any orders in late November or December for this reason. Things that take a week can can three weeks ------ Belinda. Melbourne, Australia

Date: 12/7/11 4:12 PM We aren't supposed to see the effects of those changes in the USPS until sometime next year so that shouldn't have anything to do with your delays. ------ Judy |

Date: 12/7/11 4:13 PM I placed an order with Style Arc on 1 December and I haven't received the order yet and I'm in Sydney which is one day post away. According to the email they sent me the order is pending. I'm assuming that they are really busy at the moment with orders. |

Date: 12/7/11 4:22 PM An order (US to Australia) that shipped on October 4 took 7 weeks to arrive. As it was date-sensitive, I was getting really worried! But it eventually got here & I hope your packages arrive soon. ------ Mel (Melbourne, Australia) |

That's what they say, but our downtown post office has a for sale sign on it! The regular mailman on my route is good and his mother used to live in these apartments (our mail used to be delivered at lunch time so he could eat with her), but on his days off we have no mail delivered..the replacement just seems to do pickups.
He was just here and nothing from either company. I'll give StyleArc some more time, as Belinda said that was normal this time of year. I just sent a note to Colette asking if they had a tracking number.------ 2009-113.25 yds

Date: 12/7/11 4:37 PM They may be having some growing pains. My first order was #23 and it shipped the day following my placement. I had it in seven days from the day I ordered it! I understand that the patterns are done when ordered, so they may be backed up. This order was #1000 and something and it took a week to get the shipping notice. ------ 2009-113.25 yds

Date: 12/7/11 5:03 PM I ordered on 11/20 and finally got a notice on Dec 1 that the package had been shipped. So, they're probably backed up with work. It could be a very small business with few employees.
Of course, the patterns aren't here yet, but I assume they're actually on their way across the water now. |
