Tumbler pattern binding?

If I choose to leave the tumblers on the edges as they are, and not cut them off into a straight line, how easy is it then to bind that? If you are a member of the Bernina yahoo group I asked this there too - as I would really like to use the #88 new binder if possible. If I have to do it by hand I don't mind. But, just wondering if anyone has done a tumbler quilt like that, and how hard was the binding part. Lots of tumblers there. I poked around at a blog that I visit, remembering the lady has a Go and has done more than one tumbler. It looks like she just makes the rows out of full-size tumblers then rotary cuts the edges straight sample tumbler quilt with straight edges ------ Tess On threadpainting flowers: "How many colors are in a flower? ... I was hoping to keep the edges true to the shape after piecing, but it might be difficult even by hand. I wish I knew if it would be possible to bind the tumbler quilt without trimming but haven't been brave enough to try that one yet. If you figure anything out please post here so we can all find out.
