Yes, you need to add seam allowances. I would also recommend to trace the seam lines (ie the pattern pieces) on your fabric so you don't lose the subtle shaping of these patterns.
Yes, the letters always match up. Also, they will mention a zip and centre front, centre back, gathers etc. Stuffing=shoulder pad,
Whole half back means on the fold.
Lay out the pattern pieces and try to determine how the pieces fit together. Marfy will not provide back neck facings or other facings, unless they deem it essential so you might have to draft a facing or two. The picture/drawing is also a big help and in my opinion. Try sewing a muslin first for both fit and directions.
