It was the pants with the sideways S seam in the back under the butt. I'm just now getting interested, but can't find a PDF of all the Ottobre issues. If anyone has a link to these, that would be appreciated too!

If you go on the Ottobre website you can view every issue. After you click on an issue you can look through each page, or open the pdf.
