I bought my Bernina 630 today

It was a long time in coming and so worth the wait. No, I have not plugged it in yet. Later today I will have time to try out various stitches. With my machine I bought the #10 narrow edge foot, the straight stitch plate, the #37 patchwork foot and a walking foot. (the number 10 foot is also stitch in the ditch foot) One thing I was surprised with is the faceplate on it is dark blue and not gold as I expected. The dealer was also surprised, as he has not seen one with the blue faceplate. No idea why this is. He is going to call the company and find out why they changed it. He told me if I decided I did not like the blue one, he would get me a gold one. I wanted to share my good news. I have not decided on a name for it yet. Learn ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I'd keep it -- my favorite color! Do you have a good surge suppressor or UPS to plug it into? I would keep it unplugged when you aren't using it. I'm thrilled to pieces with mine and everytime I see it I can't stop grinning. Mine however has a blue faceplate...I've never seen a gold one. Have fun playing!
