I met a woman wearing a really comfortable top, V-neckline, sleeveless, sort of like a crossover long vest. It was loose and flowing. She said that it was an old Khalia Ali pattern but I can't find it anywhere (maybe 3-4+yrs old?). Does anyone have an idea what pattern this might be? It looked so comfortable and I want to make a few for summer. Thanks.

You should be able to preview them all at simplicity.com - here are all the current Khaliah Ali patterns. You might have to look in the out-of-print section for any older ones that aren't on that page.

Thanks Laura - I did look at all the current and old patterns that Khalia made for Simplicity and I can't find it. The only thing that I can figure is that she used the one that looks like a waterfall vest and joined it in front instead of leaving it open. Oh well, I guess that I'm going to have to forget it. Thanks anyway.

Try searching on eBay. I have found quite a few of the OOP Khaliah Ali patterns on eBay. I have almost all of her patterns. Give me a little more detail about what you're looking for. It's probably in my stash.

No! Don't forget it! It may be possible to make the same shirt using other patterns, or modifying a similar TNT pattern.

Never give up!
