Date: 2/16/12 1:35 AM I have to say that I'm a bit jealous of the other communities. We've got sun, beaches, Hollywood, the garment district and hopefully lots of PRers. I'm sure there's lot of sewing fun we can have here. So who's with me? |

Date: 2/16/12 3:03 PM I think it's too large of a geographic range. There was an OC/LA group that used to meet periodically--I haven't seen much from them lately.
I'm down in San Diego and haven't had much luck trying to get a group together down here--I think that the county is too large, and the PR folks here are too spread out.

Date: 2/16/12 9:59 PM Well I think that's just sad. Southern CA isn't as large of an area as the other regional groups: UK sewers, Sewing Down Under, the state of Wisconsin.

Date: 2/22/12 0:38 AM Oh no! I left literally right before then! How did your sorbetto turn out? I wore a peony that i made from dark red fabric with gold spiderwebs and bats on it. In entering it in the red dress contest so hopefully you can see it soon. Im bummed i missed you....i didnt meet any fellow pr members there! ------

The sorbetto turned out pretty nice and it came together quickly. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to take a picture and do a pattern review soon. |
