Crazy request...I dug this pattern out of my stash to make a
new outfit and find that a strap (piece #4) is missing.

If anyone has this pattern or made the "A" top, could you
post the approximate measurements?

I'd be forever grateful...thanks.

Yes, yes that's the one! : )

I just need the measurements of piece "4" - a strap for
the A top.

Thanks for responding.

Cut a rectangle 16 1/8 " long x 2 3/4" wide. The grain runs along the long edge. Measure 1/2 way along the short edge and in 5/8". Join this point to each corner, remove the triangle you just drew. Do the same to the other end.

My pattern is size 8.

Hope this helps

So amazing. I just cut this pattern out a couple of days ago. It has sat in my stash since 1985. Mine is size 14 in case you need the measurements for that size.

Ukstash...You're the best! I'm on it right now.

This will definitely be my first review - even though I
made this at least 10 years ago.

Hi Ann,

Not sure if you're in California or Canada - I'm in northern
California. I too am making a 14. I'm far from advanced
but did make this about 10 years ago in a lightweight wool.
I was younger and patient! : ) Moth holes forced me to
abandon the outfit. Ten years later, I whipped out my
Bernina, cut it in linen (hmmm-might be a major mistake)
and am struggling. Skirt is done but is too tight - hmmm. guess
patterns shrink with age! : )
I'm using the size 6 strap - but thanks for your kind offer.
Best of luck making yours. I'll be on the lookout for your photos.
