Dear Vogue Patterns,

I'm so happy you gave me the Tracy Reese dress (V1286) I had picked last year.

But could I get this Roland Mouret too?

Isn't it cute? and deserving of your own interpretation *wink, wink*?

With eager anticipation, your devoted fan,

Lakaribane

Forget the dress; I want those SHOES! (drool!)

Ok, the dress is darling, too.

And the hair! That is blue hair, right? Not just some bizarre reflection from the dress? Or shoes?

Great outfit, go for it.

Why yes, it is blue hair.

I found some photos of the event

The dress is by Roland Mouret; the shoes, by Guisseppi Zanotti.

(Some people have described
Vogue 8280, View E as knocking off Mouret-- but some of the details-- the unusual hip darts, for instance, aren't there.

(And perhaps the Vogue instructions neglect to mention Powerflex).

andye, great links. With nice clear shots of yet another wonderful Mouret.

Lakaribane, you have my support, this would be a great pattern. With Powerflex instructions, please. And perhaps without the little side godet things, at least for me.
