This is a similar bag to the PITA faux leather one am making at the moment. Just trying to figure out how they got the black twirly tubes at the end of the contrast beige panel. Would like to try that in a bag sometime in the future. No idea what they have done and how easy it would be or what tools to use lol.

Looks like they did use piping/cording .. You can buy that in both cloth or plastic.. the plastic might hold the shape better..but you would have to cover either one you know.. with the fabric or leather you are using... Nice bag.. and that look could be used on other bags also if you are so inclined.

It's hard to tell, but the fat channels look like trapunto to me.
