I want to surprise my DS with some cool, loose clothes to take on a trip to Eygpt--she loves Eileen Fisher, for example--but so many simple patterns are like SACKS! Any suggestions for a company or specific patterns for an ensemble of really simple but well cut pull on skirts, tops, etc?

PS, she is on the small side.

Loes Hinse patterns.

Her designs are great for small framed women, and definitely have the Eileen Fisher vibe.

Take a look at Silhouette patterns ... silhouettepatterns.com ... the yoga skirt, for one, would be fab and fast. I've seen the finished skirts on her webcasts and they look wonderful so don't be put off if you don't like the cover. If you're interested in tops, her shoulders are are drafted really, really well and are just the right size. I really like this pattern line.

I agree about Silhouettes. I just finished working with two patterns: Classic Blouse and Sweater Set and have made about three tops from the sweater set. The sewing goes rather quickly and the fit is great for anyone of any size. Next, it's the Lana's Yoga pant (the one with the seams in the back) and another pant, although I can't decide.
