Date: 3/1/12 1:57 PM Please help! I can't find my machine manual and for some reason it isn't forming a coverstitch. It was working fine, but I'm sure something jumped out of place in the threading and I can't make sense of the diagram on the machine. Can anyone post the threading pages from the manual? THANK YOU! ------ Miki Miller

Date: 3/1/12 2:15 PM Did you try checking the Bernina website to see if they have the manual online?
Here I just googled. Is this the right model?

Date: 3/1/12 2:48 PM That's the thing-- the Mastery Handbooks are full of notations such as
Quote: Owner’s manual pg.___ • Following the instructions in the manual (page ___), thread the serger for cover stitch using thread
colors to match the color-coded threading path on the serger (use blue thread for purple markings). • Center the fabric under the presser foot. Lift the presser foot and place the fabric completely
under the foot.
which sort of makes sense as they are to be used as part of a class.
They don't substitute for the real manual, which doesn't seem to be online. |

Date: 3/2/12 10:55 PM I worked it out after rethreading three different times. For some reason the thread came out of the looper, but it was still coming up through the throat plate. I'm not real sure how it happened, but it's working now.
I searched the web like crazy for threading instructions and couldn't find anything. I'm going to try and figure out how to do a video and post it on youtube.
Thanks for your response! ------ Miki Miller
