I'm sorry if this topic has already been posted-I didn't see it.

Are any of you going to the the Expo? Is there going to be PR lunch like last time?

I am going. I'm going to T-shirt class on Thursday, Ruffler and Embroidery classes on Saturday.

Who's with me? Anyone?

I will not buy and fabric until I use my fabric stash at home, I said. And then I laughed and laughed and laughed............

I am going, but only on Thursday. I am going to Cynthia Guffey's class on darts and Peggy's class on fitting yourself.

I'll be there all 3 days....like every other year. It's the highlight of my life....is that sad? I have several classes, many of them duplicates of previous years, but I still enjoy them. See you all there!

@bluefly-my three hour class could have easily been an hour. So, I bet your class was time better spent.

I enjoyed the whole day. I watched the stage show on new trends, made an eyeglass case from pot holder, saw some of the designers fashion show, made a fabric flower, purchased some of the patterns -vintage tunic and magic vest. The booth for kwic sew did not have the uptown dress or jellyroll jacket. I ordered them online this morning. I had fun in c Guffys class on darts and catching up with her at the booth. I got the DVD and book on piping. Peggy's class basically said to pay attn to length, depth and circumference when fitting. To measure garments that you like for neck size, arm circle and so on. I think I did do better with the hour class then yours. Were you able to get info on fitting your t shirt? I bought a ruler to help cut bias strips to make my piping on the way out. I did figure out why I have trouble with Sagers system. She is from ready to wear and is used to thinking of garments finished size, not by measurement. It is a completely different system.
