I just received a newsletter from a quilting shop about 40 min away that said there is a new lotus. I don't know how to put a pic in but it looks too cool to pass up. I can't tell if it is metal or not.

I just don't have room for another sewing machine nor the money. I do love compact sewing machines or ones that come in a case.

I just might call...

I'm not seeing anything new and small on the U.S. Elna site but there is a small machine called the Mini Nouvelle with flower graphics on the global site...it's the same as a Janome Sew Mini.

It will be interesting to see what you got news of.

That looks awesome. My roomate in college had a Lotus, I always wanted one.

I really enjoy quilting. I love to play with fabrics, colors and pictures. I recently discovered how much fun applique can be. As I love making pictures, landscape quilting can be challenging, but seeing the picture come to life is so rewarding.

That looks amazing!!!!!!!! I have a 1970s metal case Elna Lotus TSP that I have LOVED! It has been my primary sewing machine for the past 35 years. Sewed all my kids clothes on it. Made all my lined draperies, quilts, throw pillows, etc.

I sewed my wedding party dresses on that machine and then years later my own daughter's wedding gown.

I've got to see this new generation Lotus!
