Date: 3/9/12 7:32 PM Hello,
I'm new here and I had a question for you all. I recently purchased the McCall's 6467 pattern from PR when they had the sale last month on McCall's patterns. I have a very active toddler that loves to rip paper. Well, she ripped up the instructions into tiny pieces. I still have the pattern and it was not harmed thankfully, I didn't even cut it yet. I'm very new to sewing with patterns and I don't think that I will be able to sew this pattern without the instuctions, even though it says that it is an easy pattern. I was wondering if any of you all happen to know where I can get a duplicate set of instructions or will I have to pay the $17.95 to purchase the pattern again just for the instructions? Thanks in advance for your help. |

Date: 3/9/12 7:44 PM Go to the McCall's website and email their customer service. I had good luck getting them to email me a pdf of missing instructions a couple of years ago. They were pretty quick about it, too. ------ I am going for a level of perfection that is only mine... Most of the pleasure is in getting that last little piece perfect...Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just keep showing up and doing the work.

Date: 3/10/12 1:12 AM Yeah, when my daughter was a toddler she would go after my patterns every chance she got...
McCalls tend to go on sale at Joann's or other stores from time to time, usually at 1.99 or so - if you can wait a bit it might be worthwhile to have the nice big sheets printed out. Good luck! |

Sign up for your store local sales flyers and don't ever pay full price for patterns. The usual 3 with sales are JA's, Hancock's, Hobby Lobby. |
