I am looking for a Instruction Book for the Dress Maker Sewing Machine, Model No. 566, Serial No. 2208, J-A-20. Would anyone have any thing like that or recommend where I might find one?

Can you post a pic somewhere? "Dress Maker" isn't really a brand. Most of the ones I'm familiar with are badged Japanese made machines. If we can see what it looks like we can probably direct you to a generic IB that will work.

There is a yahoo group for owners of vintage japanese sewing machines here:
I also have a Dressmaker. I don't have a manual, but did find relevant threading instructions here:
I think I did find a manual for mine for purchase, but at the time wasn't sure I was going to keep the machine, and wasn't willing to put more money into it. At any rate, I get along without a manual. Hopefully, you can find something either at sewusa.com or someone on the yahoo group can point you in the right direction if no one here knows. Good luck.
