Date: 3/21/12 8:33 AM Hello,
HELP! I have run out of STP. I bought the last rolls from Sara at Joysofsewing Co-op but can't seem to find it again. Can anyone suggest where I can get it cheaply or another co-op that sells it and will ship to the UK?
Thanks

Date: 3/24/12 3:48 PM Thank you for the information Clare. It's more expensive from Gloriarty than buying from the US but I'm sure it will be a good deal quicker to arrive. ------ Chris |

Date: 3/24/12 10:04 PM I buy from Nancy's Notions and Clotilde.
Oops! I'm sorry, I didn't notice at first you were posting from the UK. I'm not too sure about whether those catalogs ship overseas, though I do think so. I'll peek around their sites and see if they mention overseas shipping.

Okay, here's what Nancy's Notions says about international shipping (they do ship internationally, yay!):
<<
Add $15 to the above Standard Delivery Rate. All prices are in US funds. All packages are shipped via US Postal Service, Air Mail. Some countries have a size restriction; please be aware of your country's limitations before ordering. Customers are responsible for paying all applicable government taxes, duties, custom fees, and broker fees.
Back-ordered items will be cancelled unless delivery is expected in a day or two. We may hold your order, pending delivery of back ordered items, in an attempt to ship as much merchandise as possible.
Electrical items, such as irons, and ALL items with SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS will be cancelled from your order.>>>
And Clotilde's does not, (sorry...), but they say this:
<<
We are not able to ship orders to international addresses, but we encourage international customers to order from us by using the services of Bongo International. Information about this service can be found at BongoUs.com.
International customers can purchase electronic downloads directly from our site. >>>
(Here's the link to Bongo Intl (a mail pkg. and forwarding service). -- Edited on 3/24/12 10:14 PM -- |

Date: 3/30/12 9:36 PM The yahoo group below is a co-op currently offering STP at an excellent price. I buy a bunch of rolls at a time. It takes a while to ship, so you might have to buy a roll while you wait. I am in the USA, but you can check to see if they ship to the UK.

Date: 3/31/12 12:04 PM what is the size and price? I really do need this as I have been using the embroidery tearaway and it's too expensive to make plus size pattern off of! ------ JanieV |

Date: 4/12/12 8:58 AM I have been using pattern ease from Jo-Ann's for years. It's made by Pellon and retails for about @2.99/yd. I wait until I have a 50% off coupon and buy the entire 25 yd bolt! |

Date: 4/13/12 9:31 AM I used STP for years and switched to Pellon Easy Pattern. It's just a little bit lighter weight than STP so it's easier for me to see through and it's wider. It's also plain with no grids like STP. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Date: 4/13/12 11:31 AM No grids? Hhmmm, my STP never has any grids at all. It kind of looks like muslin. |
