I am almost at the point where I need to put some kind of finish on the armhole of a sleeveless blouse.
What are some of the techniques you use?

Usually I sew a small bias strip around the armhole then turn it to the wrong side and top stitch from the right side.

Anyone else have a good and easy technique?

That's what I would do too.

The only other thing I can think of is to make a facing for the sleeve hole. But I would probably just go with bias binding.

That's what I do. Sometimes I use a contrasting fabric, just to add a little fun to the inside of my blouse.

I do the bias tape. I stitch from the wrong side. If I stitch from the right side, I always end up not catching all of the turned under edge in the stitching.

You can also bind the edge so that the binding shows from the outside. It's a nice touch in a contrasting fabric.

Thanks for all the responses.
I often wonder if I do things the same way most other sewers do them and if there is a better, easier way.
