I need 1/2 " single fold bias tape. There wasn't any in my color at Joanne's. I need Oyster. Is there a source I can get this from? Every online place I go to charges about $5.00 - $8.00 for shipping and handling. My bias tape only costs about $1.80, I think to pay more for shipping and handling is ridiculous!

Has anyone else run into this problem. I really don't want to make my own, I would have to buy more fabric.

Please let me know if you have a source for this.

Check Etsy for trims, often you can buy bundles of various colors.
Right now I am favoring their many colors of picot and foldover elastic that you never find in stores. Look under Supplies or All items in the Box.

Fabric.com carries lots of notions including the oyster bias tape you are looking for. For free shipping all you need to to is find $33.11 worth of fabric and goodies that you need/want. And don't forget to find a 15% off coupon at retailmenot.com. You get free shipping if the before coupon total is $35.

Have you tried Home Sew or MJTrim.com or Lace Heaven or Cheeptrims.com?

Well, I'm going to try fold over elastic instead. It was actually cheaper on Etsy. I just hope the color matches well.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
