Pfaff creative performance?

I just received an email from Pfaff indicating they are coming out with a new TOL sewing and embroidery machine called Creative Performance. It gave no details whatsoever. I'd heard rumors of a new Ambition model, but that's not TOL, is it?

Does anyone know anything about this? Isn't it odd that they'd come out with another TOL after just coming out with the Creative Sensation last year?

I just looked at the email again and it says TOL sewing machine with add on embroidery. Maybe that means it's not as TOL as the sensation?

Quote the text of the email, and we'll parse it to pieces.

I'm not a techy person so I don't know how to do a link etc., but the email is titled "Pfaff-get ready, it's coming soon" and the email says "Twice the possibilities, top of the line sewing machine with add on embroidery options" Then it switches to "Creative Performance, coming soon to a Pfaff dealer near you".

I think it will be similar to the teaser emails when the Creative Sensation was announced. Each week or so they gave you a little more info. I just wondered if anyone knew anything about this. I'm the perfect person for these teaser type announcements because I have little patience and can't stand to not know a secret!

A small picture is available at this dealer, though the link simply leads to the "Creative 2.0" page.

It's probably just a small update-- LED lighting, if the earlier machine didn't have it already, perhaps more stitches, a color touchscreen.

And, maybe, just maybe, they'll fix some of the bugs associated with theCreative 2.0

It looks dark purple, like the color in the announcement below:

When I first viewed my e-mail, there was a backlit machine that suddenly had an embroidery unit appear on it and then this:

and...that's all for now!

I got it too - and I'm so excited about it I can hardly sit still! I was almost ready to buy the Sensation, but don't really do much embroidery so I was dragging my feet.

Then I heard that there were new machines coming out at convention in April, so I decided to hold off until then before buying.

Today, I got the email - it sounds like it's going to be the Sensation without embroidery, unless of course you do the add-in. But then I don't know why they would offer a machine with the add-in when the Sensation already exists!?????

So who knows?! I'll be watching all the teasers tho - and by the way, do they really send out teasers like that for just anything they add to the line? Or could this possibly be a real TOL machine...like they said?

Haha, if it's really a pretty purple, that would be fun! If it were a viking, it would have to be called Amethyst:)

to me, it looks like a replacement for the creative 3.0.

when i took my smarter in to be re-timed, the dealer said something about a birthday machine comming out...

looking down the page more there is a pic of the pfaff birthday machine. it looks like a expression 3.0, to. makes sense as the viking birthday machine is also the middle of the line quilting machine.

there is also this line "Pfaff welcomes the first product to the new exciting family of products the c1100 pro" on the smarter website.. idk if that means more products in that line or not.

pfaff birthday machine

maybe the new machine will "replace" the qe 4.0 and set up a more bernina style product that can be sold alone or, with the embroidery. i would love to have more machines around with huge screens and big harps like the laura ashley nx2000 and the 820 that have all the computer power w/o a embroidery module.

My dealer whispered something about the Performance line, which replaces the Creative 2.0 and 4.0 with optional emboridery.
The other one called the 150 is to replace the machines midline from the Ambition to the EX 4.0.
Or maybe it replaces the trouble laden EX4.0
In any case another Pfaff dealer said to me that Pfaff has must clean up their act if they are going to stay in business. That they put money in the wrong places.
So we will see, I hope they have stepped it up as it had always been a quality and great machine.
