My wedding dress will have a slight train, and I'm having an issue finding a petticoat thats in plus size, with a small amount of fullness as well as a slight train.
Does anyone know where I could find a pattern for one, or a tutorial for one? I've seen tutorials for layered petticoats, but I can't quite get into my head how to add on the fullness for the train too. It's just another one thing I don't have time to nut out the logistics of lol

I'm assuming you want to make your petticoat, instead of purchasing one such as THIS from a bridal salon or the internet?

Historical reenactment patterns, such those by Laughing Moon Mercantile, can possibly give you direction. Take a special look at pattern #102 (Corset, Cover, Petticoat, Bustle) . The petticoat in this pattern is drafted with no train, a 6" train, and a 12" train. You can add tulle, in ruffled layers, as necessary until the desired fullness is achieved.

Also, you may want to look at pattern #112 (Hoops and Bustles). The petticoats in this pattern are much more rigid in structure, but it may possibly give you ideas on bone shaping/usage.

Good luck and congratulations.
