It has been reviewed three times here at pr. Came out cute!

To see the reviews, just type 312 into the search box (for patterns) at the upper left screen and hit 'Find.'

I just received the pattern last week. I took advantage of their anniversary sale and bought two patterns for $15.00. This one was on my personal wish list so I had to have it. I just happened to buy a couple more along the way.....

Giorgio's Top # 312 is next on my list to make. I can't wait to try it out and see how well Peggy's french darts work.

ETA: No French darts on this top, but I did enjoy working with princess seams on interlock knit. The top is complete, but too big. Next step is to go down a size.

Use the Advanced Search feature and find them even faster.

Personally, if I know the number of the pattern, I find it faster just to type that into the regular search box. The only results that will come up will be those of a pattern with that particular number.

However, if I want to look for, let's say, all the pants reviews (or indeed ALL reviews) in the Silhouettes line, then the Advanced search is a very useful feature.

I went to see the reviews, and the reviews looks like they are for a different top, no peplum. Then I discovered there is an alternate pattern in the envelope. I think this would make a very nice dress as well as top, with the neckline lowered, of course.

After studying the line drawing, I guess there is no peplum, the alternate pattern is the longer sleeves. The princess seams just widen significantly after the waist to give the appearance of a peplum.

I can't figure out why all her plus sized patterns have hips 2-3" smaller than the bust. I don't know many plus sized figures shaped like that. I always have to redraft the patterns.

It looks like that's the waist measurement of the fiinished garment. No hip... (on tops) :-)
I'm working on some of these myself. In her webcasts, she says she doesn't grade out shoulders for plus because we don't gain weight there.... Interesting that she uses industry numbers for the w sizes too.

This thread prompted me to get started on this top. I did flat pattern measurements in the bust for Size 4, 5W and 6W and found the decrease in measurements between the size 4 and 5W very interesting. For Size 4 (D cup), the finished bust measured 42 1/4; Size 5W was 37 3/4; and 6W was 44 1/4". I'm using interlock for my wearable muslin so I think I'm going with a Size 6. I guess the change in bust size from 4 to 5W has something to do with the "W."

Does Peggy's 2-way stretch mean just crosswise stretch or both lengthwise and crosswise stretch?

I've already traced my pattern pieces and plan to cut the top out tonight. With any luck, I'll even get started on it. I just hope it looks as good on me as it does on the model on the front of the pattern!
